On a crisp Autumn morning, Niko and I did three of our favorite things. We stopped for coffee at Pistacia Vera, we met new friends, and we photographed their sweet, goofy interactions. Though we hadn’t met Maddie and Nathan, they felt like friends pretty instantly. One reason is because we spent plenty of time communicating over email and phone. The other reason is because we have a special thing in common. Maddie and Nathan met the same way Niko and I did.
Maddie and Nathan met through Cru, a campus ministry at Ohio State University. Their heart for the Lord is both an integral part of their lives, and one of the things that attracted them to each other.
When we met Maddie and Nathan in German Village at sunrise, the first thing I noticed was the beauty of Maddie’s smile. Maddie smiles with frequency and sincerity, even at 8 a.m. The first thing I noticed about Nathan is how easily he can make her smile. Nathan’s goofy, laid-back personality just puts Maddie at ease. There is such a sense of peace between them. This strong connection made their interactions extra sweet and genuine. Scroll down to see their silly, snuggly E-session at German Village and Goodale Park.
Maddie & Nathan – Our paths crossing brings me so much joy. Niko and I loved your E-session so much, we wish it lasted all day. Luckily it’s only a few months until we see you again. Your wedding at Four Seasons Barn is just around the corner, and I’m so excited I could burst. We can’t wait to celebrate you!!
