What a beautiful thing to be surrounded by friends and family!
Shae and Brad’s celebration was full of guests who love them, tease them, and made sure they were enjoying every second of their wedding day. This one was extra fun for me, and not just because I knew nearly everyone there (though reunions are always fun). This celebration was fun because it felt so personal.
Backyard weddings have a particularly pure type of intimacy. That was especially true for Shae and Brad’s family farm celebration. On a perfect September afternoon, the Watercutters were married at Sacred Heart of Jesus. Following the ceremony, their guests joined them at Brad’s parent’s farm down the road. The barn was transformed into a beautiful event space full of flowers, lights, and wood details. It was elegant but casual, an excellent combination for a great party atmosphere. And what a party it was!
Before you scroll to the photos, I want to give a special shout out to 2 vendors who really impressed me. The Flowerman Columbus handled all the florals for the day, and from the moment I picked up Shae’s bouquet, I was overwhelmed by the creativity, skill, and love that went into it. All the flowers were over-the-top gorgeous. Shae and Brad also had a cupcake table at their reception that deserves some love. Will-Yum’s Bake Shop in New Bremen made a variety of big and mini cakes, and every flavor looked incredible.
Okay! Now onto the good stuff…
Shae & Brad- Thanks for letting us celebrate your incredible wedding day with you. Niko and I are so lucky to have friends like you – sweet, fun, and great at board games. We adore you both. We’re so happy you found each other, and even more happy to have you near us in Cleveland. Praying your first year of marriage is full of all the things you love, friends, family, adventure, and crab legs. – Kate
