the JOURNAL

This past July Ruffled Blog hosted a styled shoot at Laurel Hall, one of my favorite venues in the midwest. The goal of styled shoot is to bring vendors in the wedding industry together for one big creative collaboration!

I try to attend at least one or two styled shoots each year for several reasons. The primary reason is styled shoots allow me to slow down creatively and try new things. They help me meet like-minded men and women in business. I also gain experience shooting in new places and lighting situations. All of this experience is truly invaluable.

This particular event was just my style! Inspiration to create art comes so easily when the participating vendors are so talented. The florals and colors spoke to my soul in the best way. I found myself growing more and more refreshed each time I pressed the shutter button!

Brides in the Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Dayton, and Columbus areas – check out the full list of talented vendors at the end. If you fall in love with their work like I did, consider working with them on your big day!
