the JOURNAL

It was a cloudy Cleveland evening when Niko and I met Erin and Cody for their engagement session this past July. We were lucky it never started raining. We were even luckier the dark clouds made the green trees of the Cultural Gardens really rich and vibrant. It was a beautiful, relaxing evening with these new friends and I feel so lucky we have the chance to know them.

If you spend any length of time with Erin and Cody you’ll discover three things pretty quickly. They’re ambitious. They’re adventurous. They’re best friends. Together these qualities make Erin and Cody a perfect team. They complement each other so well. They’re relationship is an endless source of fun for them. That’s what I love about their interactions. As you scroll through these photos, you’ll be able to tell just how genuine their smiles and kisses are.

Erin & Cody – I can’t believe we’re just half a year away from your wedding at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish and the Avalon Inn and Resort. You’ve travelled all over the USA together and now, in just a short time, you’ll start your next big adventure. Becoming husband and wife is a journey in itself. I know you’ll treat the journey with such care because you love each other deeply. That has been so evident for me in getting to know you both. Counting down the days until you say “I do!” – Kate
