Come celebrate life, savor sacred moments, and grow in love.

Warning: This a lengthy blog post, partly because I had a hard time narrowing down the moments I wanted to highlight and partly because I adore this couple.

Nick and Becky officially became Mr. and Mrs. Conner on May 26th at the West Chester Presbyterian Church. They continued their sweet celebration at Muhlhauser Barn, a gorgeous white barn with charming, industrial details. I’ve known Nick’s family for years. His sister, Kaity, is my dear friend and college roommate, and I had the privilege of photographing her wedding in 2015. The Conners have felt like family to me for so long. Their kindness and support for me and this little business has been a blessing beyond words. From the moment Nick and Becky asked me to photograph their celebration, my heart was already so invested in them.

I kept my eye on the forecast leading up to this wedding for days. It was so unpredictable, calling for full sun, then fierce storms, and wind all within 48 hours. As luck would have it, we had all three that day! Still it was the most beautiful day for a celebration. A lovely little rainbow even formed during the reception, and the sunset was so bold, it looked like a painting.

Nick and Becky were ready for anything, taking each part of the day as it came, without worry. I can’t say I’m surprised. These two didn’t walk into marriage lightly. They were ready for the highs and lows, eager to climb each mountain and face each valley as a team. I’m so excited for their journey as husband and wife. They already have so much wisdom, and I know God will use them to bring love and light to each heart they meet.

Nick & Becky – Thank you for your sweet hearts, your compassion, your complete trust, and your friendship. I’m so excited to get these photos back to you so you can always be vividly reminded of the best Day 1 – the day you promised to love each other for the rest of your lives. Congratulations, dear ones!
